Do you know your address? Ask an adult to help you find your house on Google Earth and have a look at what is around your house. Can you find Tor View as well?
Use paints or crayons to create a picture of your house and who lives there.
We will also be looking at the difference between man-made and natural materials. Man made materials are things like houses, roads and fences. Natural materials are things like trees, rivers and rocks. Man made means it has been created by people and natural is something that grows or happens in the world.
Can you find some natural or man made things on a walk?
Use the worksheet below to sort materials.
Here are some pictures of local parks, can you use things around the house to create a collage or model of a park?
P4 - Natural or Man Made sorting
Our well-being is our state of mind and how we’re feeling. We have to look after ourselves and our well-being so that we can be happy and strong.
What does a happy face look like? What does a sad face look like?
Think of 3 things that make you happy and ask an adult to write them down.
We share our lives with lots of different animals around the world.
What’s your favourite animal? Where does it live? What noise does it make?
If you have a paper plate or a round piece of card, make an animal like those below.
How many animals can you find in your garden or on your walk?
Do you know where different animals live? I’ve attached a PowerPoint sorting activity but this can be done with your own photos and pictures or even by sorting toys. Which animals live under the sea? Which animals can you see at the farm?
