P-Group love their music lessons which take place with 3/4T. This term we are exploring Pop Music, in particular we are looking at the songs Shape of You by Ed Sheeran and Shotgun by George Ezra. Students are exploring the different elements of pop music and the different instruments used.

For some of our learners this involves exploring instruments in a sensory way: how they sound, feel, look etc and for others we explore how to make different sounds using the same instrument. 

Additionally, we are learning about song structure and 'hooks', some students are singing these, or listening to them being sung through boomwackers others are learning to play them with boomwackers by following a coloured score.
