The topic for KS3 Religious Education this half term is “how do different religions express their faith through art and music. The students have enjoyed getting an overview of the six major world religions but have also responded well to a closer look, each week, to a different religion. We have listened to the music and looked at the art work from the religion and then tried to replicate it ourselves. Last week, all the classes had a great time, drawing Hindu Rangoli patterns on the school playground in chalk – some fabulous shapes and colours and great co-operative work!
