P6's creative topic for Autumn 1 is 'water'. We have been learning about water in many ways. In English, by listening to the story 'Wind in the Willows' and in Creative lessons we recreated 'Claude Monet's Water Lilies'. In Technology, we had lots of fun gathering a range of materials including grass, soil, shells and stones to create a body of water, using a piece of foil to act as a pond.
P6 really enjoy music lessons! The pupils explored musical instruments that make water sounds, listening carefully to the rain maker.
