This term in Maths PGroup have been exploring number using different fun activities. Some of our students have been learning about the concept of 1 using a number of different items such as balls, lights, and tactile stimuli.
Learners working at an Engagement Model level have been developing their early cognition skills. Some are learning to show they are able to anticipate a light being presented in spatial pattern. Others have been developing their visual tracking, following the movement of lights for a short period of time. We have been able to utilise lit resources in the classroom as well as different activities in the multi-sensory environment.
