4OR have been attending trips to Tesco weekly to encourage independence and functional maths skills. We have worked closely with families to plan budgets, create shopping lists and think about how to safely store food. This week,4OR planned the route, considering hazards such as busy crossings, and worked together to plan the safest and most efficient route. We have been working hard on our functional maths skills, identifying the correct coins and notes when paying and some have gained experienced with digital banking using personal bank cards.
