National STEM Centre in York

On Monday and Tuesday, Mrs. Clarke and Mrs. Vaughan went to the National STEM centre in York. They spent two days taking part in the course '
Leading and developing an inclusive science curriculum for pupils with SEND'.
The course was led by Kulvinder Johat, a very experienced teacher from London who has previously won 'Science teacher of the year'!
This course provided lots of new ideas, theories and practical activities to support the delivery of outstanding Science lessons in our school.
We are looking forward to experimenting with Science and creating some memorable learning opportunities!
